Now Im confused
I was feeling confident in doing the deletes to my 2010 but now am a little bit nervous about it. Only from the warranty portion, I only have 6000 miles on it right now but get 18 mpg on highways.
The way I saw it:
Smarty Jr. no increase in Hp just for MPG
5" turbo back exhaust
EGR delete kit
All in the neighborhood of $1000 and a weekend of cursing tools in the garage.
Then I ran no pollution crap better MPG's say 20-25 depending on who you talk to, life would be good.
If I ran into a potential warranty problem, then re-install old exhaust, EGR and OEM program from Smarty Jr. to go to dealer for warranty work.
Is this correct? Or am I missing something.

Yes you would probably have to reinstall your stuff, but there will still be a trace in the ECM that the Jr was on the truck and they could void any service based on that, and the issue. Even if you run it at stock power with deletes there is no way to prove it, the ECM will show the same trace from that as it would if you ran it set on kill.
20-25 is pretty opomistic for a 8K lb truck. Is the 18 your getting now EVIC or hand calc?

You won't get 20-25mpg...Sorry, won't happen.
I was getting 18.25 hand calculated at 75mph before the deletes...I really don't expect much better mileage than that, but I know my engine is cleaner and healthier now.

The only thing you have to remove is the dpf/nox...all the egr crap can stay there (it's just turned off). With a cheap set of exhaust hanger pliers (to get the hangers out of those rubber "hangers") you can r&r the exhaust relatively quick. It's just my opinion but if you aren't removing the dpf/nox then I don't see a need for a programmer because you get all the issues with warranty and none of the benefits of the deletes.
Signature600, is your truck a 4x4? manual/auto what rear gear? just curious....If I was getting over 18 stock i'd be happy (I'm getting about 15.5 -16).
