Service Air Filter Message

Gentlemen,
Quick question. I currently have a little less than 5K miles on my 2500 HD, all highway driving. Since I bought the truck I have received 6 "service air filter" warning messages. After the 4th time (all prior to 4K miles) I took the truck in to the dealer and they said they flashed the computer. This was after they assured me that the hoses, fittings, and filter were all serviceable. Since the "flash" I have had the service filter message come up twice again. Any thoughts on this? Anyone else experiencing this? My truck is stock, no mods. I currently drive/live in Las Vegas, NV. One area where I have noticed this message chime is coming home from work. Departing a red light and immediately going up a hill (bridge crossover). When I accelerate up the hill to a speed of 65-70mph I get the message (that has happened twice out of the 6 times). Anyway, just wanted to get some input/advice if anyone has anything they would be willing to offer. Thanks in advance.

I have had the same message appear in the first 1,000 miles on my 2500 4x4 Cummins. I took the truck back to the dealer and was told they could not find anything wrong. I have not received the message since I went back to the dealer, but it's only been a few hundred miles.

Did you do anything to stop it or just ignore it and it went away ?

The only thing I did when it happened was acknowledge the message (while driving). Once I shut the truck down and restarted it the message was gone. I have received this message at 1500miles, 1800miles, 2600miles, 3300miles, 4000miles and now in the 4500mile area (all are estimates as I don't recall the exact mileage). Bottom line is it is happening frequently, or at least frequently enough to make me wonder what is going on. I don't know if a mass air sensor is getting tripped or what. As I said before when I took it to the dealer they said that DODGE called for a ECM flash to remedy the problem. I have checked the filter and fittings and everything seems good. Not sure what is going on, but I guess I am about to take it back to the dealer to see about it again. Thanks for any advice.
