Bed does not drain water .

I bought a 2010 used and the guy had a spray in bed liner . Did they plug some holes before spraying then forget to remove the plugs ?

My 98.5 had drain holes one on each side towards the front .

Its not a big deal but when I park facing downhill , the front of the bed fills with water then with our latest weather it freezes into a solid block and I have to haul it around everywhere !

Maybe I am missing something ? I know , I am from California so I am missing half my brain right ? ; ) I am from WAY northern Ca though if that helps....in the Deep woods ... way away from the granola crowd , yunno , the nuts and fruits.......

Thanks in advance ,

Dew

They probably filled the front drains. Bet if you look from underneath, you can find them without just poking random holes.

After I had the box liner sprayed in on my 2001 I used a pointed 3/4 inch diameter punch and drove it through the existing drains as they were almost filled in, on my 2011 I didn't get it lined but the drains do sometimes get filled with leaves and crud..

Well, the drains are actually narrow slots in the front corners of the bed, near the cab. The spray liner semi plugged them up , I scraped out some of the liner material , they drain fine now.

BTW , sorry for posting in the Engine and Drive train section. My bad .
