water bed, ERRR water in my bed

water bed, actually water in my bed
I find that after it rains, my bed fills up with water and does not drain until I drive it. The truck is an 06 quad cab and has the factory installed plastic bed liner. It does not have a leveling kit on it so the front half of the bed tends to hold the water. There are no drain points so I don't guess the water sitting in the bed for a day or so shouldn't really matter because it's not like its leaking into anywhere and creating a corrosion concern. So what's everybody think, leave it be, or try and create some drain points?

there are drain points in the bed, there are 3 right in the front near the cab. They got clogged really easy. I have a spray liner so not sure if the plastic liners have holes them selves or not.

Those drop-in liners are bad about rusting the bed. Water will get under them, and when you have a load in the bed the liner will shift around and rub the paint off the bottom of the bed.

Drop in bed liner from factory do NOT have any holes in it to drain the water when it rains or car washing places. That just stinks.
They also rub off the paint on the bed underneath the bedliner. I always take mine off in the spring just to check to see how bad it is scratched and everything. They do protect pretty good but still scratches underneath when dirt and stuff get in there.
I would suggest taking your out or lifting it up and checking to see where your drain holes are in the bed, then drilling some holes (1/2") in the same location so it would drain right out of bedliner and then bed.

yes, drill three holes in the liner, one in each corner and one in the middle.
If you pull the liner completely out, put a heavy coat of paste wax in the bed before you put the liner back in. Do not buff it, just leave it heavy. This will protect the bed from any water that might get under the liner.
