I have noticed the exact opposite. As soon as my TC locks, the RPM's lower & the EGT's climb FAST. Try keeping the RPM's & boost up & that should keep the EGT's lower(moving alot more air alot faster). At least it really helps me.

Yes... and going to higher levels if you have it can even more, but at the cost of wasting too much fuel!!! And soot buildup in the Cat...
No... By increasing the fuel you will have more fuel in the cylinder... some of that fuel will go unburned and therefore act as a lubricant, thus reducing EGT's!!!
Now keep in mind that the unburned fuel is of course wasted and generally results in black smoke out the tailpipe... and with the cost of fuel these days, who wants to waste any more fuel than they have too...
-----------------------------
Just remember the leaner you run the hotter the EGT's!!!!

So then why do guys run hotter with bigger sticks and no other mod?
More fuel = more heat... My temps jump faster when I am smoking than when I am not...
The only thing I have noticed so far that has reduced my EGT's is timing..
The rokktech will help, but 2* may not be enough, these motors come with very retarded timing from the factory.

The best way to keep the egts down is to take your foot of the go pedal.
