Wow......WOW!!!

I have the fuel mods in my sig--Pods, 3 turns on fuel screw, DennyT stage 2 pin. Been running this setup with different fuel pins for 50-55k miles on stock LP! Well about a month ago I was making the 50 mile trip from my ranch to my college town and noticed I wasnt getting full boost and egt's would only hit 1100, compared to my normal 1300-1350. Let my friend drive it, and it felt weak from passenger side. Fast forward a few hours, on the paved road to my house. Stopped to do a burnout, and when hit 4th it fell on its face. Spitted and sputtered to about 100 yards from my driveway. That was the end of my factory LP.

So Finally today I got my HP piston pump stuck on, and man what a difference! Just a hint for people, do this upgrade! Havent had this much power....ever. Guess the stage2 pin was enough to pull my pressure down. my truck is fun again.

Well I found one bad thing with doing this upgrade. I now have enough power to slip my clutch in 3rd 4th and 5th without even hitting full throttle. It is done! Gonna be a few months before I can afford the one I need/want so guess it will be parked again.

So, where did you purchase the HP piston pump? What does it look like and does it directly replace the factory lift pump? I'm interested in knowing more about it.

Go to the sticky, its the same setup BC847 did his writeup on. I got mine from the Case house, total including freight but tax free was around $230.

It is high pressure?
What regulator did you use?

Heres the writeup guys. Check it out. No regulator needed.

I got mine installed this past weekend, and noticed the same results- more power, along with lots less smoke. I dont have a F.P. gauge yet, but it seems the stock LP was not up to snuff.

Externally, it looks identical to the high pressure p-pump lift pump. It has a few springs swapped out to limit output pressure to the 15-16psi range.

You will need the pump, a spacer, two gaskets, and a new fuel line, though some have bent the stock fuel line to fit.
