Will these Toyo's fit?

I have asked this before but it seems all the answers come from people with 4X4's. I have a 2004.5 2WD single rear wheel 1-ton. I'm trying to get some warranty on my cracked Michelin tires and want to get the Toyo open Country A/T's in 285/75R17 10-ply. They are 2 inches taller than the stock tire size. The 4x4 guys say this is the biggest they can use without a leveling kit.
Is anyone with the same truck as mine running these tires? Will they work on my 2wd without any mods?

I have the 4x4 version of your truck and I just had the Toyo Open Country M/T 295/70/17 tires installed today on factory rims and they fit perfectly. My truck suspension is stock with no leveling kit. I am not sure how much the 2wd to 4wd differences make. The M/t's are big and meaty looking and sure add to the trucks look.

Here are some pics of my 2003 with the new Toyo Open Country M/T 295/70/17. They also have a much higher weight capacity at 3920 lbs each.

How bad is the road noise on those? I love the looks of those Toyo's. I have the BFG AT's (265's).

There is almost no road noise, they run very quietly. I can't recommend these tires enough. I got them to increase my tire capacity and the looks and ride are just a welcome bonus.

I have the same tires, and love them. With the window up on the highway they are not too loud, but with the window down they are loud. Having said that, the noise is not offensive like some M/T's are. I do not mind it, but some may. Also, on my 05 the computer could not be reset for the 295 size. They had to set it at 285. I worked it out to be 1.7 km difference, so just over one MPH. Not a concern for me, but something to be aware of.
Regardless the tires are great. But back to the original question, I suspect that 285/70-17 may be a close fit on a 2X4 truck. They are a fair bit lower that the 4X4 trucks.
