Upgraded steering
is that tsb number superceded to the kit with the new pitman arm and everything? cause i gave that number to my mechanic before all the superceding talk!
also in the pic doesnt look like you got all that in your kit does it?

can you please reconfirm the part numbers.
I only ask this because when i look them up to buy on multiple mopar parts warehouses some of the descriptions for the bolts and nuts don't seem to be correct for 08. All of them list 03-07. They may use the same bolts, but I just want to be sure before I order.

I got a new tie rod, drag link, and steering damper. Not sure why anyone would need a new pitman arm unless it or the drag link end had come loose and wallowed out the holes.

Is this new setup covered under the 7/70 powertrain warranty (I have an 04.5) or only the 3/36 bumper to bumper warranty?
I have 69,500 on mine right now, and if it's covered still, I'm on my way to the dealer tomorrow...

You're talking about the stud on the drag link end at the pitman arm hitting the tie rod? I don't see how this could happen with the old or new style steering. By changing the steering from an inverted Y to an inverted T the relationship of the tie rod fore/aft is unchanged in relation to the pitman arm.
New to posting--more a reader than a poster--not on the computer that much I guess,but I have been following these threads on the steering linkage. Anybody check the prices recently? I am told by Dan at Bremerton Dodge [dodgeparts.com] that the linkage parts # has been superceded again from 52122362AB to AE,[E for more Expensive]? $222.00 [was $138.00] The dampener is the same # 52122370AA $101.04 Am I getting a yank job,or has anyone else noticed this increase?I was told they are on a backorder so I ordered a set to lock in the price before they go up again.
