07.5 Megacab 2500....new to me a week ago. I put my trusty prodigy in and hooked up our typical trailer and the controller says no brake connection. Prodigy and trailer work fine on my Ford. Is there a fuse or breaker I should look into? Any thoughts from the experts? Trailer lights work fine.

 

check your trailer plug, some older ford's have a different pin location for brakes. go to ETRAILER web site for pin locations. hope it helps;;;;

 

The Ford is an 08 F250. Trailer also works on an 05 F150. The tekonsha works in the other trucks as well. Pretty sure the problem is in the dodge somewhere...but haven't found it yet.

 

Get your meter out, start checking for power starting at the battery, then work back from there, also check fuses as you go.

 

Turned out to be a loose/bad connection at the backside of the plug at the bumper.....I think. It fixed itself after pulling that off
