Toyo vs. Nitto
I have an 07 5.9 with the 305/70/17 TG. They ride great with almost no noise so far (1 week). I was concerned about towing with a gooseneck and heavy trailer but so far they handle great. I have the early ratio g56 Transmission and these tires dropped my 70mph rpms down around 2000 instead of 2300. I don't think fuel mileage is going to be affected too much.
Im looking at new tires myself, and I don't know if I can justify the price of the toyo's, but they are sweet! What are some mileage numbers others are getting? If I can get 40k out of a set of the MT's, I'd consider em.

I think the Toyos are a pretty good tire. Better than the stockers at least. But after 3 sets (33x12.50/15, 325/65/18, 305/55/20) on 3 different trucks I had better experiences with the Nittos. For some reason I am seeing more wear on the rear tires than I am the front. I thought that the heavier front end would cause quicker wear. And no, I have never burned out on these tires nor do I ever fishtail or do anything to accelerate wear. I am afraid to rotate them to the front just for this reason. At the pace they have worn I may need new tires in 6 months. Unless I get another deal on tires other than Nittos I will buy another set of nittos, likely in the same size my current Toyos are, 285's.
