i will take a few pics give me a few and i will post them. because they are 285s they really dont stick out and they fit the rim properly. it is a great size. bigger than the 285/70 but not quite a 35. dont know what took them so long to make them in the first place.

Really, when I was inquiring about toyos at a nearby shop I had no idea they were available. I didnt believe the guy at first, he said "yeah there was a dodge in here the other day and we put them on, they looked awesome" I said are you SURE it was a 75 series and not a 70??? Sure enough pulled it up on computer and showed me, real inexpensive too! wanna say $850 or $870 out the door for Four! Only place in here in socal that sells them is Express Tire, I think.

STate here are a few more pics I'm not a pro photographer but i think they should do the job. i got mine back in may from discount tire and the prices were much higher then. there are places selling them for 175-200 ish on line but after shipping and mount and balancing it takes away a lot of the savings. if you like them i think 800-850 installed is not bad.

post pics if you get them....chris

P.S. the pic on the right makes it look like it is sticking out far but is just an illusion. i have almost 1000 miles on them and they still have the little nubbies on the tops of the tread blocks. way better than most tires i have had!

someone else smarter than me might be able to do the math and tell you exactly but i cant tell a difference it will drop your rpm by about 100 or so on the highway. with the gearing on this 6 speed auto i don't think it is going to affect things much.

my friend brandon got 40K+ on his 325/65/18 Nitto TG's, they took alot of towing, burnouts and other abuse, this is on a lifted extended cab long bed 2000 powerstroke, they was well worth the money.

I run the Nitto Terra Grapplers in 295 70 17 on my truck...no rubbing or anything. Ride great, not noisy, good traction on and off highway. I rotate and balance them every 3-4k miles to help them wear even and at almost 20,000 they appear about half worn...then again there are no burnouts or tire squeals for me at lights...well not too many anyhow.

I bought five from an online store for around $900 shipped to my door with FREE freight. Then cost me $120 to get them mounted and balanced.....been great tire.

under pressure

STate. i would only run the max PSI at max GCVW.(yes they are 80 psi max tires) normaly i run these at 62-65 front and 52-55 rear when empty for a decent ride and good tread wear. then adjust them to your load from there.

Nitto

I had the Toyos on my last truck and they were wearing like they're made of butter. My truck got wrecked when the tires had 18k on them and I might have gotten 24-25 out of them...Honorable! I have Nitto's on my new mega with 6k on them and they look brand new so far.

Dieseljunky & Metalram, I calc'd it out when I bought mine. 3.49 is the functional new axle ratio. A little better for mileage.
I'm seeing about 72 mph at 2000rpm
I'm running a manual w/ 3.73 rear.

I just had a set of 305/70/17 E rated 10 ply TG put on my stock wheels this afternoon. 8" is the min width on these, 33.98" diameter. Right now I've got 52 pounds in the front and 45 in rear and they have just enough pooch to notice, 65 is max. They ride as smooth as stock if not better. Takes a little more brake pedal to stop. Speedo and odo are off. No rubbing and they stick out of the wells about 1/2". They fill up the wells nicely too almost as good as the 315 BFGs.
I'll try to post some pics.

Here's some night time pics just after it rained so the lens was a little foggy. I'll get some better ones soon.

Only down side I've noticed so far is they have a little road noise to them. Other wise I think they're great.
