Power Door Lock Actuator

I think my rear right actuator is dying. When I hit the key fob to unlock all of the doors, that particular door does not always unlock. Anyone else eperienced this problem? Is it hard to repair?

Gracias,

LT

Read post number 15 for specific instructions on replacement.

I had to replace my driver door switch. It wasn't to hard even with my limited mechanical ability. I think it cost me about $30 for the part at the local dealer. Good luck.

TexasCTD, does your front bumper and chassis have frame flex? It makes the bumper appear to move back in forth while going down the road or if you hit a big bump.

I'm thinking of getting rid of this bumper. I have one more thing to try and if it doesn't fix it, I'm thinking of a ranch hand. I would love to find a used one though.

Not that I have noticed. Seems to be solid as a rock. I know the bumper is supposed to weigh 305lbs by itself,,,,,,and prob another 100lbs with the winch.

Mine was bought new, but it was a "scratch and dent" they were selling at the RH wholesaler in Irving off of Loop 12. I am very happy with it.

That said, if I had the money and a local distributor I probably would have gone with Buckstop. They are very spendy and a long way from me. I'll settle for the RH.
