Re:Towing

I'm not sure of the exact tongue weight, and I didnt measure, but I know it squatted atleast 2 inches more than my other truck. I'll try to get under it and get some pics of the mounting hardware, I think they charged me in the neighborhood of $60.00 for the kit for the '03 ram from reese.
I have to say again, the truck pulled absolutely awesome, and it wasnt like the back bumper was dragging the ground or anything, just squatted a little more.

Cat Cracker.

Re:Towing

I will agree, Cat Cracker, my 2500 pulls great, that 460 lb-ft at 1400 rpm really makes a difference. I had heard that the difference between 2500 and 3500 rear was just the addition of the helper springs. How much space unloaded to helper spring? Maybe most of your's squatting is before it loads the helper. Very interesting.

Look down under "Towing". I posted pics of the new Reese bracket installed on a 3500 and the bed with the hitch.

And, yeh, guys, been around but busy. When you don't have time to play, you are definitely too busy. Prodigy?? What is that? I am still working on the Inverter wiring - - tricky with a generator and 50 amp service. So, I will hook up probably this next week and go see how all works. Too much company this weekend. Monday, going out to Jordan and see if I can steal his bracket for the controller. Otherwise, just going to install it as if fixed for now and wait for the new bracket - - just leave the pedals alone. Booooo. Been a fun two weeks, though. It's coming. 8)
