pintel hitch towing

i just bought a new trailer yesterday, and i have never owned one with a pintel hitch. any big grips that yall no of??
i towed it last night about 70 miles and i really didn't mind it at all. it was quiter than i thought it would be. it is a 32' deck with a 4' dove tail. i am going to use this mostly for rec use, as in hauling two rigs 4xing.

Pintles have a little more play in them than fivers or regular ball hitches. However, you will probably never notice the difference between them, especially with all the tongue weight your trailer has. Just make sure the latch is down and pinned on the hitch every time. A pintle setup can bounce free easier than a ball (not that it should ever have a chance to happen).

If the trailer pintle is adjustable make sure you check the torque on the attaching hardware once you put a few more miles on it (also check the tire lug torque). You can never be too cautious with the hardware.
