Tire question

I have a 2" leveling kit from Rev teck on my 06 Megacab rite now and I run the BFG 315 on the stock rims. The BFG's are the same size as my 35" 12.50 17 Procomp Mud terrains that had on it before (and took og due to the road noise). My question is this do I have enough room for the 37 13.50 17 Extreem At tires from Pro comp? or should I get a set of the 35 12.50 17? I would like to run the larger tire but I do not want to put a different lift on the truck to make it work.

I think you will have problems when turning to the lock with the tire hitting the inner fender or the suspension arm. I know w/ 315's and different backspacing on the wheels the suspension arm will get in the way. I have 315 BFG's on mine with NO lift, but, I still think 37's will rub with only 2"s of lift. My 2 cents worth.

i think the stock wheels w/37's problem, tends to be with rubbing the control arm.

37 x 13.50s with just a 2 inch spacer lift in the front are going to rub. Also, I think it is a bad idea to put a 13.50s wide tire on a 8 inch (stock) rim. I would ideally want a 10 inch wide rim. Just my .02

What about the 37X12.50x17 on my stock rims and the revtech 2" spacers? I'm in need of tires pretty bed now. My Pro comp 35x12.50x17 MT are about shot and now winter is coming and I need to get them replaced ASAP. Any input would be very much appreciated since I plan on getting it handled by the end of the weekend so I can have them on by Thanksgiving to head up north. If the 37 are just going to be too big I guess I can get another set of 35's but never MT again, they are just too loud. I think I'm going to try the Pro Comp Extreem AT, or just get another set of BFG AT like I had on my other truck and this one for a short time before I had to get some tread on it again.

35's really fit the best. A friend of mine has 37x13.5 with after market wheels on his 06. We put a 5 inch spring lift on it and the tires still rub on his front fenders. He has done extensive bumper trimming. I think they would rub on your control arms with out properly backspaced wheels. Your local tire shop can advise on this. They may even let you try on the front tires to see how bad they rub. If they want your business they should accomodate you.

With just a 2 inch spacer and 37s they are going to rub. You would be better off with the 35s. MTs are going to be loud, the ATs will definately help quiet things down.
