Sticky Rhino Problem
Sticky Rhino Problem
I dropped my Week Old truck off this morning for a rhino linings and set of Bully nerf bars. I went back this afternoon to pick up my truck and the owner said we had a problem. While spraying the lining the part A and part B weren't mixing poperly and it ended up a sticky mess. Luckily the the technician noticed it wasn't spraying right and stopped He only sprayed the front bulk head of the bed. So now I'm driving around with a sanded bed and sticky stuff.
The owner asked if I would bring back in next Tuesday and he will have the problem fixed and it would be perfect. Should I ask for a discount after my liner turns out? Good news My nerf bars look awesome.

Give him a chance to fix the problem and maybe hint at a discount for the inconvienance that this has caused on you for your time.
You may get lucky and they were already thinking about giving you a discount.

Hey "white lightning", where abouts in New York are you. Im from Staten Island and am looking for a Line-x dealer near me. I have a Rhino dealer about a mile from my house, But I have heard better things about Line-x as far as fading and just an all out better spray in liner.

Agreed, give 'em a chance and hint and probe at a discount. Rhino or Line-X, everyone has an opinion. Each have their good qualities and bad. Line-x doesn't fade and get "chalky" looking as much. Rhino is a thicker, spongier (sp?) more impact absorbant material and won't let the load slid around in the bed as much. Either way, they're both better than a drop-in or nothing at all.

Well I took my truck back in today. He said it would be done and I could pick it up after work. When we got there around five my truck wasn't out front I said Oh No! I went in and they were still taking the sticky stuff off. He asked what I wanted to do and I said I wanted it done. Any whay they had done about seven and it turned out great. When I went to pay he took $50.00 off of the price I thought that was fair That's 23 gallons of diesel
did you have to pry at all for the discount or did he just do it without asking? That is a sign of a good customer relations person and a place that would get a good referral from a customer that had a "botched" job done. Customer service is what it's all about!!!!!!
