I'm trying to figure what to have sprayed in my truck. I heard that Line X does not grip very well as where Rhino does. Any input on which one grips the best would be appreciated. I have not heard anything on Ameriguard so if anyone has that one sprayed let me know how you like it.

 

I have neither as I use a bed mat, but I've heard exactly the opposite. Liner debates can be fun. :

Line-X goes on hot. It can, therefore, be applied much thicker on the sidewalls without running. It dries within a couple minutes so you could park it in the rain. I am very pleased with mine.

 

I had a Rhino in my old Ram and have a Rhino in my current Ram. Probably because I didn't know about Line-X and don't know where any Line-X dealers are around me! <br><br>I am pleased with the Rhino. Probably can't go wrong with either one.<br><br>Tony

 

I have put LineX into a 2003 3500 Dually CTD and love it. They did a great job prep work wise and have no problems with it. I have friends that have had it on for 3 or 4 years and still no problem. Line X is a great product, don't know about the others. I do know that most problems with any type have to do with not prepping the bed properly.

 

The dealer put a bulldog liner into mine and I think it's preety great. Just checked their website at bulldogcoating.com.<br>

 

Line-X is the only way to go, as far as im concerned there is no other liner. I've had it in three of my trucks and no problems what so ever. Also can Bulldog and Rhino say that they are used in military applications i.e. Line-X is used as a coating on the Pentagon.

 

Got my truck on a Thursday and on Friday i took it to Huntsville, AL to have the Line-X put in it. A friend of mine had it sprayed in his '01 Dodge and it is still doing it's job.<br>The people at Line-X did a very good job.<br> And like Silverram03 said Line-X has been used on nose cones of military missile's.

 

I've seen both and I prefer Rhino. It's a little softer so things don't slide around much if at all. It's handled lots of stuff with no problems whatsoever. As most have said, it's basically a function of the place that puts it on. I think both are good products; personally, I just preferred the &quot;softer&quot; fell of the Rhino.

 

I had a choice between Rhino and Speedliner. The 2 places that did Rhino both said that they would try to keep the drain holes in the front of the box open. One of them even offered to drill new drain holes. : <br>Speedliner said that they never clog the drain holes. They had my truck for 24 hours, 8 for the prep and spray, the rest to allow for drying. It turned out very nice. This stuff even has cevlar (sp) in it.<br>Wanted to give you another choice. By the way, Speedliner was about $50 less then Rhino.<br><br> JD

That's another reason I like Line-X better JayDee. I dropped my truck off went for lunch and read the paper. Drove back and they were just finishing up. Line-X dries in like 5 seconds.

On a side note: Truck Trend has also only given Line-X the rating as the best one to use by way of prep work, long life, and durability.

 

Do any of you that have the spray in liners ever used the plastic fit in ones? I have always used the one piece liners, (construction so the box of the truck gets s*itkicked) I always thought the slip in ones were better? Thanks<br>

 

Spray in liners protect against scratches better, drop in liners protect against dents better. If you are in construction and are always tossing things like lumber, bricks, pipe and such in the bed, go for the drop in liner. If you aren't worried about dents, get a spray in liner. <br><br>Jean
