Steering stablizer

Went to upgrade the OME steering stabilzer today. I can't get the bolt to come out of the steering linkage at the front of the stabilzer. The frame bolt came right out. Help! Does it need to be pressed out or do I just need more force? Thanks

Try a pitman arm puller, or a tool to press it out.

I need to get around to doing mine here soon as well, ive had it sitting on the workbench for weeks...

I just installed a defiant single steering stabilizer 4 days ago. I couldn't get the OEM one off either. I beat on it and was starting to get nervous that I'd screw something up. So I went to the local parts store and bought a pitman arm puller and it came off in less than a minute. Also, you will not be disappointed in the defiant steering stabilizer. I got bilstein shocks and new steering stabilizer and the truck rides better than when I drove it off from the dealership. Awesome upgrade. Would recommend it to anyone.
