DTR is a wealth of knowledge. I have learned about the high idle feature, and the "radio stays on until I open the door" feature that just need to be turned on via the Star Scan tool. Why doesn't Dodge turn on all these great features my truck obviously has lurking under the hood at the factory?

Hey all you Dodge technicians out there on DTR, are there any other cool secrets hidden in the scan tool we should know about? Thanks for all the help DTR!

Big money for a star-scan tool. Looking a 3 grand minimum on ebay or new upwards of 5 grand new. Rumor has it though that with a bullydog downloader you can enable all of those functions as well plus get all that extra performance.

the STAR scan as i am to understand from my dealership is not for sale to the general public at this time, i use 3 STAR scans and one STAR mobile for work. the features available in the trucks are basically those mentioned and alot of data from all the modules

 

any STAR scan bought on ebay should have the serial number checked for being STOLEN, big problem in the dealerships.

 

so lets try again if you know someone that works at the dealership you can get a star scan. they will not sell you one over the counter but they can be had. i have personally gotten a DRBIII.

also with the bullydog triple dog you can activate all of these features. i am getting rid of one to buy a smarty.

What are, or where can you find out, these features DC doesn't turn on?

Anyone have a how to on turning the radio does not turn off until you open the door?
My friend has a STAR and I like to turn it on.

 

A dealer tech posted that it was under the "vehicle preparation" menu and its called "accessory delay". Under the same menu is "idle up enable" and "daytime running lights". I need to get this done myself.

 

Is there a list of features that can be turned on or off so that you could go to the dealer and get all you wanted (on or off) took care of in one shot?
