throttle pedal detent
Well, my truck got stuck in first gear and wouldent shift out of it. It had been acting irratic the day before and took a dump the morning after. Got it back already from a good friend and it turns out it was the govener and transducer solenoids. He also said he adjusted the band. When I put the truck in reverse to back up, and then to drive the throttle feels tighter/firmer. If I press it more than half way it feels as if something is ratcheting. We looked at the cables coming off the intake and everything looks good. I can only compare the feeling as if you were to replace the downshift/ detent cable on a chevy 700r, when first installed you have to put the pedal to the floor to adjust the shift points....anyone with a simiar issue ?? oh yeah ---its a 48re 2003 model
