If you look in the owner's manual it will note the rough shut down. I think they refer to it as gear shutter that is worse on manual transmission equiped trucks. My truck shakes pretty hard at shut down. As said above, lots of compression makes it shut off quickly and tightly.

Mine does all that you say, the fan squeak is normal and if I limp foot it it searches for gears kinda abruptly and is more prevalant after going to larger tires. It aint a lexus, it's a Diesel truck !
