If you go through the hassle of installing a power slider then do the wise thing and put the switch within reach when you are driving. I can tell you without a doubt that if I had a switch to open mine it would be open anytime my windows were down. After reading this topic yesterday I decided to open my slider on the way home from work. Yup, it's still a pain to get to from the driver's seat and the older I get the harder it gets. I vote for a power slider...

Never use mine. Wish it was solid then I could have rear defrost and also put sunscreen graphic easily.

I have the manual option on mine and I Rarely open it. Same reason has everyone else, Pain to get to. My previous single cab had one, and I used it all the time.. even with the a/c on, it was great airflow.

I would seriously consider a swap to a powered version as i would have it open all the time.....

Thanks for all the replies. Wonder how difficult it is to tear into the dash and find the correct wires to hook up a factory switch for a power slider.
