Can a power rear slider from an 06 Ram QC be installed in an 04 Ram QC. What problems might be encountered?

I'm not sure about the compatibility, one listing I read said 2003-2007 and the link I got the attached instructions from mentions that it fits 2006-2007 QC and MC trucks. If you've got the tabs to mount the motor (See box #19) and room behind the rear interior panel I don't know why it couldn't be done.

Anyway, I've attached the instructions to give you an idea of what it takes to install it.

 

About 6 months ago I checked into it and dodge is selling a kit in their accessories catalog to fit 03-07 trucks. Check with your local dealer and see what they have to offer.
