Rotor Question

Before I pull my rotors off to find out the answer, I hope someone will be able to give me the information I need.

What is the minimum thickness for the rotors on my truck (see signature)?

Also any pointers and tips about replaceing pads and rotors would be appreciated.

Thanks

Man thats an impressive signature! You have adjustable pedals? Where can i get those at? My 2002 f 150 had those. I miss them. As far as rotor thickness goes most people dont worry about it, although it is important. They might not even need to be turned depending on how they look, and feel when braking. I have honestly never seen anyone measure rotors before they turn them. Sad but true.

Friend of mine had an '03 that he had driven for over a year before I pointed out to him that he had adjustable pedals. He didn't even know.

As far as the minimum thickness. It should be stamped on your rotors. Even my service manual states that it will be stamped there. Hope that helps.
