welp, the old girl is at 91k and clicking fast.
it's an 06, i broke the 04 and had to trade it in, don't want to have to trade this one.
did a search for "100K" and got a few interesting threads,
some folks where changing out thier water pumps as a precautionary measure.
what do you guys think of that?
i have always kept up on oil, fuel & tranny fluid changes.
drain fuel filter housing.
did rear axle once or twice.
put NAPA rotors on it, got OEM's turned down, gonna put the OEM rotors & new pads on here soon.
put the Bilstien shocks on at ~50k, how long are they good for?
everyone said the OEM's only last ~30k
my truck has a leak from the front main seal, barely enough to make a oily spot to collect dust on the oil pan. my dealership mechanic said to leave it alone, rather than risk messing up something else.
and it has always had a light oil tinge in the exhaust at idle. just a hint of blue in the exhaust at idle. the dealer mechanic also said not to worry about it, it runs good, get decent MPG (16~18~20) and pulls good.
but it is by NO MEANS fast. it's a pooch of a truck, always has been.
anyways, is there anything i need to do at 100k to get another few 100k out of it?

like what Dizzle says, a coolant flush is a must.
I would look at changing out all 4 balljoints (2 lowers / 2 uppers w-A arms). mine went out at 74k miles. check for play in your driveline yokes, dont change them if there is nothing wrong. you can change your powersteering fluid if you want but not needed.

I would not worry about the water pump, they usually give plenty of warning that they are going out, but if it did get bad, it is definetly a doable roadside fix. My 00 went approx. 240K on factory pump. Aftermarket fuel filters/pump are a good idea, something I really need on both of my trucks.
