Recommendations for a FLUID PUMP?

Any recommendations for a fluid pump I can buy? One that I can suction rear diff fluid out of the rear diff fill hole and replace with new fluid.

This is not for my truck, but for a friend who doesn't want to take off the diff cover ( Older cummins, no reuseable seal). I have had little luck with those little hand held pumps at the auto parts stores. Thanks for the help!

i'm not sure it would work, but one of those gas siphon tubes with the squeeze ball? oil might be to thick though...

Fairly sure that the new gasket will cost less then the pump and it probably would be a good idea to take the cover off to inspect everything anyway.

Chech a marine shop. Thay make piston pumps to pump oil for the lower leg of an outboard that will do exactly what you want.

Personnally, I'd pull the cover.

Pull the cover, use the Right Stuff to seal it back up.

I don't know if this helps or not, but I got my hands on an old hospitol respriator pump. It has a vacuum side and a compressoin side. I take a hose and run the vacuum side into a mason jar and then run another tube out of that. So what happens is you create the vacuum in the jar and suck the fluid into it. This way the vacuum pump only sucks air and you don't get anything else in there, just empty the jar and your good to go... Also works great for bleeding brakes this way.

My pump looks very much like the "air brush" pump they sell at harbor freight except mine has another filter on intake side of the head...

Then just go to the local hobby/science store a rubber tube cap for a mason jar.

About $10 for a drill operated pump at Napa. Has male 3/4" hose threads on each end, so have to get a couple hardware store fittings. Works well for most any fluid, although I think gasoline tears it up faster.
I'm on my 2nd one, they appear to last about 5 yrs. I use it for pumping oil into diffs, transfer case, sucking oil/ATF out of the boat to winterize, prime a siphon hose for irrigation. Very handy.
