Remote Keyless Entry and Remote Start

I have Remote Keyless and Remote Start from the factory. 3 out of 5 times my keyless entry will not work and next time it will. what is up with this?

try a new battery in the remote

Both remotes. It's definitely a truck issue. I just don't know what.
