First towing experience - Positive
Towed a rather light weight travel trailer (rented) in the Arizona mountains this past weekend..
Trailer was 26', and topped out at about 6k fully loaded..
Amazing how this truck just pulls it like nothing is there... only on the steepest inclines did it even downshift into 3rd..
For downhills, the cruise control handled the downshifting ok, but I could see how a much heavier trailer would not be fun without an exhaust brake.
I'm a happy customer.

I pull 10,000 with water full and goods on board. I use the exhaust brake and it really does a great job on long steep grades. There are some nice after market exhaust brakes that you can add and install easily with basic tools. I put one on my last truck 2002.

if / when I buy a trailer, I'd consider the exhaust brake if I was anything over 6k.. there were a couple steep downhills, where I was having to ride the brake more than I wanted..
are they available for the 2005 with Auto?
