02-04 Dakota & Durango.

The wheels may fall off due to excessive ball joint wear or something like that.

I don't know what the big deal is.

DC Says it's because of abnormally fast wearing ball joints on 02-04 durangos and dakotas. Now, don't you think the driver would notice a little slop in the steering or some very concerning noises or SOMETHING??? before the whole wheel and axle end assembly come flying off? Owner neglegence if you ask me. Not saying there isn't a problem but for a person to drive it till the wheels literally fall off is another thing.

Just another reason not to go to cheaper parts to try and save a buck, lean manufacturing at it's best. Cost's more in the long run!

I have seen them come into the garage at work and are literally on the verge of falling off. The customer didn't realize anything wrong. Some i think i could have kicked the tire and break it off.
