i think thats what i will do, get the mega and then do the long bed conversion, best of both worlds, i could careless how big it is in the long run, as a trucker i have no problem moving a rig around, though i can certainly see the complaint about it being too long

07 6.7 quad dually here, bought it because for 2k less and i got a 12200 gvw trk and not a 10500. Wanting a 5th wheel and the quad just made more sense. My 3yr old grandson seems to be growing leaps and bounds and he'll be my future fishin buddy(along with grandma) now I'm 2nd guessing and revisiting the Mega (settle for a lower gvw 5er). Anyone having issues towing a 5er with the Mega? Steve

I agree with that. I had a CC Super Duty and sold it for my now totaled 03 Ram. The space in my SD would have been much more handy now that we just had our first child 4 months ago.....so now I'm stuck between getting a mega or another quad cab because I really don't want another PSD powered truck and don't want a GM truck even though I do like the Duramax.
Is that all it costs? Parts and labor?
