order to delivery time

How 'bout some numbers on how long it has taken to go from ordering at your dealer to getting it delivered.

I'm in the waiting mode right now, "BG" status last Friday. I placed my order August 18 but don't know exactly when the dealer put it in.

So if you know, reply with:

When ordered:
2500/3500
status updates (when it went to "D" status etc.)
When delivered
Where assembled (St.Louis or Mexico)
What kind of deal you got (if you want, relative to invoice + any dealer handling fees etc.)
I'll check my status today and update later.

Maybe we'll all get a better idea of how long it takes.

Ordered Aug 18
2500 QC 4X4 HO 6 speed, SLT Sport, LSD, towing, leather, protection grp., secutiry grp.
BG status 10/18
@invoice + title/handling fee (400) - 500 Dodge coupon net $100 below invoice

"The power of a Cummins TD is second only to the power of information!"

Re:order to delivery time

Commonrail

Ordered mine in mid June even before the pricing was out. Apparently I was the the first in the area to order and the first to finally receive one. As of last week none the area dealers have seen or received any HD's except mine.
Regardless mine was built Aug.29th in Saltillo Mexico. Scheduled to be shipped Sept. 4th., but someone had a Mexican minute down there and it was finally shipped Sept. 25th. Arrived in Toronto Oct. 10th, and into Barrie and my loving care on Oct.12th. I don't immagine you boy's in the U.S.A will experience any where near the delay's we are here. Worth the wait it's a very nice truck! Pete

Re:order to delivery time

Ordered mine on July 24 (the first day pricing was available in western Canada and I still haven't got it I was told it shipped from St Louis on Oct 24 (this was just after I suggested that if it was not here by Nov he could keep it). I have had the VIN number since Sept 16. I read that Chrysler lost money in the third quarter maybe if they could get the product to the customer that could be solved

Re:order to delivery time

Good morning! Here's my data:
2500 HO QC SB Laramie ordered 8/8
Dealer had no idea what status it was in until it hit KZY (2d rail drop) - they were clueless otherwise until it hit their lot
Delivered 10/5 - my birthday! ;D
My truck is Mexican.
I did pay a dealer fee - I'd have to look it up. I think I paid about $5,000 under MSRP. Since it was a very early order, I didn't get the heated seats, and also no underhood light. Should I complain and moan about the light?
???
