I have a 04 2500 dodge diesel crew cab 4x4 8ft box. I cannot get the fan to change directions from the front vents to defrost or any other position i.e. feet or defrost. The heater and fan switch both works. Does my problem lie with the switch or with the solinoid under the dash? This problem started gradually, I had to move the switch back and forth to get the fan to change directions. Any suggestions would be greatly appriated.

Sounds more like a broken blend door. I hope you have the extended warranty thats all I can say.
