Aren't you worried about the $100.00 you probably lost at trade in time? I mean with the $65 you spent on supplies and the potential $100 you'll lose later, that's $165.00 just to have a custom system. Kids these days!

 

Now Im not one to usually stir the pot, but the whole logic of the aftermarket stereo devalues the vehicle is a little backwards for me. When I swung the deal for a courtesy trade for my little sister when I bought my wife her Durango, my sister was trading in a '00 Camery. Local dealer only wanted to give 9000 for it. I wanted 9500, the only way he agreed was if I left the Pioneer radio that I had installed in it. It was a DEH-P790, purchased for about 240 bucks and complete install was under three hundred. So in my book thats a 200 gain.

 

im not worried i have the complete factory piece with wood grain and the ac vents to put back along with the stock radio. i can probably sell the one i built on ebay or locally for at least 150
