these are AWESOME lights.

few people have borrowed my truck to move & to honeymoon,
and they loved the lights, and the big rattlin CTD!!!

I sold the truck to a buddy, and one of the bulbs quit for some reason, probably due to a bad connection or something, IDK, he ripped them out before I got home. (they have a lifetime warranty....)

this install thread is pretty much 2006 specific, but on any dodge vehicle with a TIPM (2006~2008?) you HAVE to use a wiring power harness.

if you plug the ballast into the OEM plugs, it will draw too much power, and the TIPM will shut off the lights.

On my 07 5.9 DRW after the install with the Retro-Solutions 6000K 55W kit i still have my DRL,no turn signal cancellation feature anymore---don't know what happened there.These thing are great,way more light at night/rain---love em.I don't know what happens on a 08 but they work on this year.Cheers DW
