That high idle peeves me also !!!! Just got done e-mailing back and forth with Cummins and they said Dodge didn't specify that for the manuals ........told me to check with DC rep . I drove MANY manual trans trucks with the REAL BADBOY Cummins and ALL of them used the cruise control to wind them up on the governor when we would load or else add water on the job . Worked exactly like the auto's ..........hit the brake and would return to normal idle speed . Do they use an entirely different ECM on the autos ?
