Mine has been doing this to so you are not seeing things. It has to be real dark to see it, but really notice it when grid heaters are cycling.

Thats what that is! I thought I needed to stop drinking coffee in the afternoons! I could see the flash but could never look at it long enough without going off the road to see exactly what it was.

Mine does it also, but I just ignore it sionce it has done the minute flash since new. I do remember seeing a post about this subject before either here on Diesel Truck Resource or on Turbo Diesel Register. If I remember the post correctly, someone said it was a short or a loose wire in the wiring harness that goes to the instrument cluster. The fix was to reset the wire or add some heat shrink tubing to the wire. If this problem is allowed to propogate with out a fix then a electrical fire is more likely to occur. I believe that even someone said it started their truck on fire. So, I think there is a TSB out for this problem. Again this is if my memory serves me right.

I tried to see if I had a loose wire when I was installing my brake controler and could not find one. I might need to remove the cluster and get a better look. So far I do not worry to much about it since I have been driving the truck more during daylight hour instead of at night.

Well, since its a farm truck... IF it goes up in flames ...I will replace it with a SRW 3500 ...Its hard on the truck when I smoke the duals !

My 2005 Ram 1500, HEMI QC, did it too. Found out how to fix it!!! Got rid of the truck and replaced it with a '07 2500 CTD!
