High beam light indicator

I was wondering if anyone has seen this:
My high beam indicator on my dash flashes every so often when I drive at night. I am also seeing my interior lights flash/ surge. Is there a problem with my elec system here or is this normal? My gauge shows that the system is charging, but the lights flashing are driving me crazy. Thanks for your help...

My high beam indicator flashes as well, however my gauge lights do not surge....unless the truck is cold and the grid heater is kicking on and off, then all the lights surge.

Thanks guys for posting... It sounds like this is SOP (as we say it in the military...) That's Standard Operating Proceedure... I really only notice the surging at warm up, so that's got to be it... Thanks again for your help...
