Headlights off time

I sure like the automatic lights off time. Went to basketball tourney today. 15 below. Came out 5 hours later
remembering I left the lights on! They were off on the truck(like they said they would be) and the light switch was still on in the truck like it shouldn't be. Some technologies sure are great!!

Yep that's right, about 15 minutes after we forget , the truck is smart enough to protect us so we don't have to get a jump start

Yeah Sweeeeeeet. I would like to know if there's an adjustment to the length of time they turn themselves off? Does anyone know? And also, I discovered turning the switch key off and on 4 times in a row in quick succession gives a computer read-out on the odometer (error conditions I imagine). Anyone know how to decipher without a meter?

No a dealer service guy told me, so obviously it's in the Service Man. Next time I see him I'm gonna ask what the codes are...

I understand that turning the key on and off like that 4 times in a row gets rid of any codes that the computer may have on record. If you want to see if there are any codes- 1. Hold your odometer switch pressed in, and THEN 2. Turn the key to the start position, without actually starting the truck.(This will show you any recorded codes after a few seconds of display.)
