Thumbs down Headlights Flahsing On And Off!!

mY HEADLIGHTS ON MY 97 DODGE RAM 3500 FLASH ON AND OFF WHILE DRIVING AS OF THE LAST COUPLE DAYS. i REPLACED THE DIIMER SWITCH/ASSEMBLY AND THAT DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. aNY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

What do you mean, flash on and off? You mean they are on for a while and then go out for a while and then come back on for a whlie etc. etc. etc.? If they go on and off at a slow rate then I would say the headlight switch is your problem. I had a Jeep do something like that and that is all it was.

Yes, they go off for a second then come back on. They more flash than flicker.

I am going to replce the headlight switch tonight. Hopefully that will fix it. I used to have a 1991 dodge that burned out headlight switches regurlarly, but when they went, the headlights DID work and nothing else did.

i had same prob once in a big rig it was a breaker relay dont no if u got that hope it helps

your head light switch contains a breaker and that is whaT HAS GONE BAD REPLACE THE ENTIRE SWITCH
