Gauge Problems
Gauge Problems
I was doing some work on the gauge cluster and long story short I popped off all the gauge needles.
I thought maybe when I started the truck the needles would "zero" themselves. Now they are all off- the speedometer is 25 mph low, tach is about 500 rpm low and temp gauge is high. Is there any way to reset the guages? I did do the hold trip reset and turn key on, seems to go through all the tests then acts the same.
Any help will be appreciated!

The only way to fix this that I am aware of is to pop the needles all back off then put them back on in a known accurate location. I had this experience once with a speedometer on a Ram. I had to plug in a scanner and monitor the vehicle speed with it while driving down the road. When the scanner read 30 MPH, I stuck the needle back on, right at the 30MPH mark. Hopefully you can do all yours this way.
