1. Does the quad cab (not mega) have the rear AC vents? Can you get them?

2. Can you get the rear DVD AND nav?

3. Can you get the rear DVD AND sunroof?

4. I noticed a SRW 3500 w/o the clearance lights. Guess that's a new one.

5. When's the next major update? 2008ish?

 

You can get a DVD and the nav systems, but you can't get the DVD and the sunroof. Also you can't get the bucket seats and the manual trans. Which doesn't make sense to me since, normally a manual trans vehical came with bucket seats?????

I know this because I was going to order a 2006 tring to get these opt but couldn't. SO I will keep my 2003.

I do not think you can omit clearance lights in all states because of the weight of the truck.

I was playing around building a truck on Dodge's website and when I did the single rear wheel option, it said it deleted the clearance lights. I noticed they were available as an option for $80.00. Another cost savings move by DC I suppose.

 

Correct, they're an option on 3500srw's for '06. I'm glad because I prefer no lights on the roof and my new 3500 Mega Cab won't have them.

 

I got my 06 3500 a few weeks ago and I wanted the nav & rear seat etc but none on the lot and I didn't want to wait. what I am going to do is install a pioneer head unit (n2 I think) and headrest monitors, the n2 has navigation, will play dvd's in the rear, while I listen to xm, pretty cool. The guys at the shop said they could put a drop down screen and mount a dvd under a seat if I wanted to do that and didn't think the sunroof would be a problem (I would suggest checking with a local shop to be sure since we didn't go drop down method) also can add a back up camera, total cost for everything (head unit, xm, rear screens, back up camera, install) is $2250 and suits my needs. not sure how much the factory nav & ets is but you may want to go aftermarket for that stuff and just get the sunroof.
