Dealer 05' stock... when?
Dealer 05' stock... when?
Just wondering when we'd see the 05's on dealers lots? I've been waiting so long now and the time is drawing near to make the purchase.... so I might just wait for an 05'. Any ideas??? Thanks, Tony
I talked to a rep at DC yesterday and he told me pricing info should be available by "the middle of August". I found a dealer who would let me cancel my order for any reason with no penalties, so I went ahead and ordered one up. Sometime next week I should have the expected price, so I'll pass that on when I get it...
BTW, the adjustable pedals are not available on the '05's yet. That's fine with me, I was hoping there'd be a way to get the Laramie without the adjustable pedals! Perfect timing heh

Trik,
I have an '05 on order now. DC tells me that it is in "stage D" which means they are accumulating parts. When it goes to "stage D1" that means it is in production. Suppose to be in 2 weeks; so I'm told.
My dealer told me to expect a 1% rise in the base price.
Alan
EDIT: 1 % rise over the base price of an '04.

Pretty much the same thing I was told when I ordered an 05 last week. No power pedals, and probably about a Aug. 1 build date. Would be updated soon as the production schedule is set. I ordered a reg. cab Laramie and was told all reg. cabs come from St. Louis, instead of Mexico. I'm not sure that has any bearing on build dates, pedals or anything else. Jeff

I checked on my truck yesterday and it has an assigned VIN, but not a build date yet. He said it would be assigned in the next week or so.
The truck came in at about $225. higher at invoice over the 04's with the preliminary pricing off the invoice cost, if it would have had the adjustable pedals with it which it won't probably have since there is a deduct for them of $120/$106.
The rebate is not offered on them yet, but it is the opinion of everybody at the dealer that it soon will be.
I'm looking forward to getting it and have a great running & flawless looking 2000 Laramie with 201,000 miles on it if anybody is interested, look on autotrader.com for 2000's with 2whd in AZ for pics. I'm not driving it now since its going to be traded in and my '95 is working out good as ever.
