Darn steering on my 3500 DRW
Darn steering on my 3500 DRW
Would I be better off paying to get the steering fixed on my 2003 3500 DRW instead of taking it to the dealer over and over again? My past two dealer vists that claim nothing is wrong.
It is more difficult to turn left than to turn right. The steering wheel angles down to the right most of the time when going straight. The problem is far worse when pulling my travel trailer. The trailer pulled fine behind a 2003 F-350. (Yes, I checked tire pressure on truck and trailer.)
If I did pay for someone to look at this, what kind of shop should I look for? I'm certainly not going to Firestone or Goodyear as they don't see enough big pickups I'm sure.

I experienced the same thing with mine. I took it to the dealer and they gave me the same b.s. line. So i took it to another dealer and had them do an alignment before i told them my problem. It took two alignments but the problem was corrected. Just aliitle bit out will cause that problem. The reason I took it to another dealer for aligment was there are very few places with a big enough machine to fit the truck on. Try it and i think you be happy.
