Question new truck order deadline

Hi Guys!

I'm a new member and I was wondering If any one knows what is the dead drop date for ordering a new diesel truck?

Thanks.

Why? Are they going to quit making them?

Check this site

It says 4/16 is the last order date for 04's and 6/14 is the starting order date for 05's. This might not be exact, but it should be close.

Intersting.....

So what are the changes (if any) for the 05 Dodge 2500? Looks like you either take what's on the dealer's lots or wait until July now?

That's the thing, no one knows. There's speculation of a full size crew cab, and hybrid electic-diesel (contractor special), among other things. Honestly, my only hope is more of a color selection, exhaust brake certification for the 48RE, and misc bugs ironed out, like the MPG issues, although recent reports from late build 600 owners seem to indicate the MPG issue could be improving. I'm waiting for the 2005's simply because it's only a couple months away and I don't want to kick myself for getting an '04 if something cool comes out that I wish I waited for. If that doesn't happen until 2006, so be it, I can't wait that long!
