caster problems
I got my lift installed and firestone can't get the caster set. He showed me where the bolts are maxed. The computer wants between 4 and 5 but all he able to get id 3.1 and 3.6
If you leave them there how.will it effect the driving?

thats as far as it will go then i am having the same issues with mine as well it seems as though the bushing wear the length of the control arms and supposidly where the brackets are welded on the axle are the issues that only allow you to get so much rotation or axle movement to me it is a nother great design by dodge!!!!! not
do you have upgraded control arms with your lift?

Yea I got an axle forward kit. It doesnt feel like it steers too bad. I know that the caster make it more stable but less reactive one direction, and more reactive but less stable at high speeds the other, I just cant remember which is which.
I got to get the sway bar mounted back on there still to tighten the front back up.
He was able to get 3.6 in the front left and 3.9 in the front right. And he got my toe back to .06 so it's pretty close.

Anyone else had this issue? I am going to take my truck back and have them try and make the caster match side to side even if they cant get it in the 4-5 degree range. I am having a little pull to the right so I want to see if this helps any.
What tires are you running? Many tire designs will cause a right side pull especially when you start getting up there in size.
As far as the caster goes, the more caster than you can get into the front end the strighter the truck will drive. Too much (over 5 degrees) can cause front driveline vibration and a heavy steering feel. Too little will cause the truck wander, not have a strong return to center in the steering, and can contribute to death wobble. It sounds like RevTek didn't do enough homework on the control arm lenghs. If they made the uppers a bit too long in relation to the lowers it will be impossible to get enough positive caster.

Anytime you jack a truck.. It's not gonna be perfect. All you can do is max it out and roll with it. You shouldn't have a problem with over 3*. Put some miles on the truck and see how it feels, it'll never ride like it use to. It's a whole new gig.
If you run into problems with death wobble or anything then give the Suspension maker a call.
