Anyone else hear a loud scrreeching noise when you turn on your fan in the morning?Sounds like the damper door is dragging or something usually only does it in the morn or when truck has set for awhile,but sometimes does it when driving and I turn fan to on position....Rooster

 

is your A/C or Defrost on when you turn the fan on??
if it is then it is probably the A/C clutch engaging, they are loud from time to time.
not a big deal IMO

Nope,it can be heat or ac or defrost...Sound seems to be coming from under dash........

The only sound mine has is the compressor "clunk" sometimes when it engages at highway speeds. No haunted house sounds though. Thats scary!

 

what did u find out? mines making noise now.
