Haunted truck???

Going up the freeway today about 30mph.. Traffic eased up a little and I speed up to about 50 and let off the throttle because of course it slowed back down 300 yards later.... Heard the Chime start dinging and all my dash lights came on and all the gauages went to zero points for about 3 seconds. Then all went back to the normal positions...

The radio or engine never missed a beat ...

Anyone ever had this happen or is my truck haunted..???

Gerry

Had the same experience does your gas gauge work and does your ash tray stay closed I've had the truck at the dealer five times for the gas gauge problem sometimes reads full sometimes I know the tank is full all so door seals are wearing out 041/2 3500 4x4 I honestly believe my 98 Dodge truck was better built Rick

sounds like a loose connection behind the dash. I had the same thing happen to my 98 cherokee. All the guages would fall and then come back to life and eventually fail again. Turned out to be a common problem. The dealer fixed it the first time. Second time I went in and gave the little plugs a twist and a bend so they would no longer lose contact with the harness plug. Dabbed some die electric grease in for good measure and never noticed it again. Hope its something easy for you like that.
