3500 steel wheel suggestions????

I got the ST version, and I have the "cheapo" steel wheels. I have been looking for after market wheels, but man, they are expensive. Does anybody have any suggestions, or better, pictures of modifications they may have done to make these wheels look better???( i.e. painting them black)?

Any help would be appreciated.

Monitor the classifieds on this site and others. People often upgrade their wheels and are looking to sell their stock ones. Also place an ad seeking forged aluminum ones from '03-'07. They have the correct backspacing which can be hard to duplicate.

My suggestion would be (as already stated) would be to keep an eye out for a "take off" set.
I paid $500.00 for a set of polished alum. (2005) rims AND tires that I put on my old truck. The tires alone were worth closer to $700.00

I have seen some nice looking black rims (painted or powder coated) too though.

I have a set of the forged aluminum wheels from an '05 with the tires that I would be willing to sell. The tires have about 10,000 miles on them.
