Question Plastic Wheel Skins on Steel Wheels

Has anyone taken the plastic wheel skins of their stock steel wheels? I can't see any clips that hold them on so does that mean there's some kind of glue in there?

I am planning to remove mine and I just wanted to know before I get the pry bar out!
Thanks

Mine are just held on by some spring clips to the lug nuts, easy off easy on.

Oops!

I just took one off...

They're not plastic.

They're metal covers glued on and they're hard to get off!

If you tear them, they can be really sharp too! Not that I'd know.
