I ordered on 1/31/04, a Saturday and got a Vin and build date of 2/5/04 D1 Status on 2/4/04. It still doesn't tell me what the delivery date is. Is this the Web site that most people use to track their trucks??

Cool. It looks like there are quite a few of us that should be receiving our trucks about the same time. That should make for some interesting reading next month.

Glad to hear good reports from those that have driven one or who have their own. I have been tempted to check the local dealer's inventory and drive one but I think I'll wait and make my own the first 600 I drive.

Wexman, I'm still taken back by the quick action by Dodge on picking up the second order (and the first for that matter). Looks like the majority of us are not having problems getting our orders "picked up" quickly. Hopefully, my sales guy is right and I'll have D1 status by the end of the week. He's been selling at this dealership for 19 years.

I'm looking forward to watching the progress of everyone who is scheduled this month. (wexman, jlasich, dawall, alleyoppe AND the others) At least we have the Forums to keep us somewhat occupied during the wait.

Justdirt....Meant to ask, do you have any rubbing issues with your 315's? Looked at your pics recently, still just the engine ID label, will you post some pics of the new ride soon?

Time to ammend the signature to reflect the change....

I'm not sure if this forum helps me or hinders me. I keep reading all the great reviews and it just makes me even more anxious. I'm trying not to call my dealer or DCX Customer Service too much for that very same reason. Just not sure if I could handle watching a dot (aka moving train) on a map as it got closer and closer.

I'm getting anxious.

Yah, I know what you mean about getting anxious, but then I keep thinking
its a good thing my new truck isn't here yet because I don't have to drive it in all this salt and crap all over the roads right now........I'll keep driving this 03 HEMI around that is being traded in and putting all these miles on their truck now.

Guys, there are plenty of order status threads. This one is already toast, but please keep from turning them into this. I would rather you guys start an order status and stick to that one.

I'll give a full writeup after I've had mine a few days.
My ship date is 2/20. Dealer said 4-6 weeks after that, and I live in NJ. I'm hoping its sooner...can't wait!!!

I test drove a Harley D. F250 before buying the 325/600. The Ford was an auto while the Dodge a 6-speed. The Ford did seem quicker but that might be because it was an automatic. I also considered buying the Dodge I test drove so I took it easy on it. The Ford - wasn't even a consideration so I test drove it 'like I stole it'!

I agree with others that the type of transmission (auto or manual) will effect your impression of how quick or powerful the truck is. The Dyno is really the ONLY way to know for sure which is more powerful and at what RPM.

I'll follow up with more once I get me truck!

Odie....Wasn't ignoring you, I haven't read this thread for a while. It sounds as if your truck is making progress your direction. One thing I have to ask though, would you ship a Duramax to Newark?

These threads have been combined, and also split from an unrelated thread. It's like the vines growing all over the house with these threads. Please keep your order status information and questions in this thread only.

You can call your dealer and ask them for their dealer number should be no problem for them to tell you. That being said I found my dealer number on the computer printout I recieved when I ordered my truck. Dealer number is found at the top of the page.
